§ Achievement: Consulted and developed the ‘Anti-Racist and Intersectional Research Guidelines’ for one of the ten largest women’s foundations in the world and the only national public foundation dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls; Proposed a plan for the Research Guidelines, including core principles and best practices; Collected and analyzed data through interviews, survey and focus groups; Completed project activities and deliverables on time within budget.
2019-2020: Project Coordinator, funded by the Ministry of Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism, The NeighbourhoodOffice Toronto

§ Achievement: Completed project activities and deliverables on time within budget, including managing schedules and outreach, drafting contracts, facilitating meetings, handling assignments and communicating with managers, team members, volunteers and the funder.
§ Collected recipes from the residents, and designed and published a “Soup and Breads Recipe Book” for the project.
2021 & 2022: Co-Chair – OISE Graduate Student Research Conference (GSRC)

§ Achievement: Organized the first-ever online and very successful GSRC 2021, “Taking Stock and (Re)imagining the Futures of Education,” after the cancellation of the GSRC 2020 two weeks prior to the conference dates due to the pandemic. Organized various sessions/panels with underrepresented groups and industry experts; Invited key speakers from the Indigenous community; Managed all aspects of outreach, call for proposals, program design, execution, weekly meetings, and well-being sessions; Designed an online workshop series from September-December 2020 for the participants who registered for the GSRC 2020.
January 2021-July 2021: Graduate Research Associate, OISE, University of Toronto
Project Title: Exploring the Engagement of Children from a Low-Income Neighborhood with Informal Opportunities for Science Learning PI: Dr. Carol-Ann Burke
§ Worked with principal investigator to coordinate qualitative research to explore the discourses associated with the scientific engagement of young people from groupings that are underrepresented in scientific fields.
§ Gathered, reviewed, and summarized literature from academic journals to assist PI in preparing scholarly manuscripts.
§ Actively participated in data synthesis and transcript checking, coding, and analyzing data
§ Formal training in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including SPSS, NVivo and critical discourse analysis.
